Often, we are asked the question "why does your board work on some stainless steel refrigerators, but not all?" The reason that we have found is that it depends mostly upon the grade of the stainless steel that the manufacturers are using. If the stainless is porous, then air can get into those pores, which will cause the suction not to stick. Again, depending upon the grade, the stainless can get cold... if it gets cold enough and produces condensation, the moisture can then stop the suction cup from sealing.
How do you know whether or not the grade on your product in one as described above?
We know that for the most part, the following manufacturers have products which do not work with our boards (GE Profile, GE Monogram, Thermadore AND some SAMSUNG).
